Jim Mitchell, CPA

Jim gave up the gloss of a Big 4 accounting firm for the hands-on, personal contact he has with his clients at Daniele & Associates. From a recent conversation here are Jim’s views, thoughts and insights.

Building relationships
We’re not just about getting a financial statement to the bank. Or getting a tax return out the door. We’re not just number crunchers. We show a genuine concern for our clients and look for every way we can help them meet their goals. Every client relationship is a partnership. We look out for our clients. We understand their concerns, problems, objectives, and create solutions.

Listening vs. hearing
Listening to a client is one thing, hearing what they are really saying is something else entirely. By hearing what a client is saying and asking them the right questions we can fully understand what a client wants to achieve.

What are you passionate about?
