Soft-spoken. Reflective. Easy-going. Bob has a gentle manner and a passion for rapidly solving financial puzzles. He has more than 30 years of experience as a CPA. From a recent conversation here are Bob’s views, thoughts and insights.

What we really do
Everything we do revolves around helping people. Every day clients come in with questions. How can I fund my children’s education? How can I minimize taxes? What’s the best way to finance my business? We all feel good when we help our clients. It’s truly a wonderful feeling. What’s more, there is always someone here to take care of a client. We work as a team and have great communication internally, so a client doesn’t have to wait for an answer.

Different from the big firms
What you won’t find at our firm is a palatial conference room, stately mahogany-paneled offices and marble floors. We focus on what’s important to our clients. We have the latest computers and software, and we continually invest in education for our team so we are up to date on tax laws, legislations, and so on. The relationship we have with our clients comes first.

What inspired you to become a CPA?
I enjoy turning a complex financial situation into a simple solution. And of course I like the feeling I get when my clients are happy.
